In the field of simulation, the potency of tools
based on the finite elements method becomes apparent in jobs such
as the present one, in which a prior thermal analysis, including
the operating conditions of the equipment, as well as the phenomena
of heat transference by conduction, convection and radiation,
enable the load states to consider in a subsequent structural
analysis of the simulated zone to be obtained. Likewise, local
actions on the equipment are analyzed by means of detailed models
and via the application of testing and measuring tools (ASME Section
VIII Div 2 in this case) programmed within the ANSYS environment. |
